Croatian Meeting Professionals Association (CMPA) is the only non-profit organization of Croatian meeting industry founded in 2011.
Raising of members’ professional standards through continuing education, networking and cooperation among members is CMPA’s aim from the beginning. The association has established a close relationship with Croatian Ministry of Tourism, Croatian Convention Bureau, Croatian Chamber of Commerce, public and private sector shareholders dealing with meeting industry and tourism in general.
CMPA is a member of European Federation of the Associations of Professional Congress Organizers (EFAPCO) and a Preferred Provider of Events Industry Council (EIC) in its educational programs to collect continuing education hours. Also, CMPA is the owner and provider of its own certificate program CCMEP (Certified Croatian Meetings & Events Professional). As of 2019, CMPA is the co-owner and co-organizer of the first-ever Croatian industry show MEETEX (Croatian Meeting Experience Summit), taking place every March.
General Assembly is the supreme governing body, while the executive body is the Board of Directors (BoD), Ethical Committee (EC) and Advisory Board (AB).
